A valorisation plan is being developed from the previous LLP projects to disseminate and exploit the project products effectively. It is the initial plan of the partner consortium to disseminate the project in major conferences such as IMLA 20 (International Maritime Lecturer Association); and committees, for example, STW 43 (Sub-committee on Standards of Training and Watch-keeping), EU events such as The European Maritime Day 2012, and so on. Several papers have, or being, planned presented at these events accordingly.

The project will initially study 5 case studies in accordance with the quality criteria being developed. Existing case studies being evaluated as part of the IMPACT Project are online ICT products as listed below:

·         MarTEL (Maritime Test of English)

·         MarEng and MarEng Plus (Maritime English Learning Tools)

·         NetOSKAR (Maritime Competence Assessment Tool)

·         MEP (Maritime Training Courses)

·         EGMDSS (Short and Long Range GMDSS Certification)

The IMPACT platform will enable further ICT (Information, Communication Technology) based Maritime related products to be evaluated. All submitted products will be studied by the project consortium and will be quality assessed through a set of quality criteria and, will be promoted by IMPACT platform if it passes the quality threshold.  If you are a project consortium, an MET or an individual and have worked or are working on an innovative maritime product based on ICT and you want to promote it; you can submit it to IMPACT consortium for evaluation.
